ID Number: 185-19D
Breed: Border Collie
Age: 1 year 5 months
This is Molly our beautiful border collie. She is friendly, affectionate and loves company. She loves to be out and about walking and exploring, so an active household is definitely required.
Unfortunately Molly has missed out on the crucial socialising and training, this has resulted in her being quite reactive in various situations so a new dedicated owner will need to give her plenty of guidance, structure and training.
Molly can be wary in some situations and very fearful of things we may not even think about, ie, noises for example passing traffic, sounds aeroplanes going over head.
She can also be unsure of some people and dogs with higher energy. Due to her lack of experiences of situations she has never been exposed to Molly has no coping strategies to channel any reactivity so she tends to grab what is close to her to relieve her stress.
She has made a lot of progress since being with us and we are now looking for a very special person to continue the work our dedicated team have began with her.
She will ideally suit an adult only household and the home would preferably be a quiet one with minimal hustle and bustle. away from too much traffic etc
Although Molly is good with dogs loving to play with them and has lived with other animals previously, due to her training needs she will be best suited to a single animal household.
