Sponsoring Safe Haven

While they are in our care we give them a safe haven - we make sure our animals feel loved and secure by caring for their physical needs as well giving them regular exercise and company.

What is Safe Haven?

Safe haven is our monthly giving scheme where you can sponsor the animal accommodation which will provide a safe environment for abused, abandoned or mistreated animals. With Safe Haven you won't be helping one animal, you'll be sponsoring the lives of all who pass through our animal centre every year.

What will my sponsorship go towards?

For £1.25 a week, your sponsorship will go towards the animals' care, rehabilitation and medical treatment. While they are in our care we give them a safe haven - we make sure they feel loved and secure by caring for their physical needs as well giving them regular exercise and company.

What do I get from the scheme?

We will send you a welcome pack including a supporter’s car sticker and certificate with your animal accommodation number on so you can visit each animal you’re helping to care for. You will also receive our quarterly news letter and will have the opportunity to leave a small message on our supporter’s board in our reception area.

How do I join the scheme?

EASY! You can set up a direct debit over the phone which takes less than 5 minutes or you can fill out a form at the centre to sign up by standing order.

Corporate Partnership Sponsorship

Only by actively sourcing new areas of financial support can we continue to achieve our goals by providing care, rehabilitation, medical treatment and exercise to abused and abandoned animals.

Llys Nini is keen to develop mutually beneficial relationships with companies that share our commitment to animals in the local area, the environment and the public. Marketing your product or service in a way that also benefits a good cause can communicate a very powerful message. Not only does it generate goodwill and demonstrate your commitment to the community, it provides opportunities to strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers. It can also increase product sales and build positive brand awareness.

Charity of the Year

Supporting a chosen charity can be fun and is a great way to incorporate a wide range of activities that staff can work together on towards a final objective. We can work closely with you to develop a tailor-made programme.

Employee fundraising

Encouraging employees to take part in fundraising is great for team building and helps to motivate and develop your staff; building a more harmonious and efficient work place. You can support a valuable cause and have a lot of fun. It can be a brilliant way to attract publicity and illustrate how socially aware your company is. As it’s driven by staff, it’s also extremely cost effective. Examples include:

Team Sky Dive

Team Marathon

Why Llys Nini Animal Centre?

A partnership with Llys Nini Animal Centre would ensure that your company gains the enhanced reputation created by being associated with a charity so well respected in its specialist field. Llys Nini benefits from excellent coverage within the local press.

Many stories from the animal centre have made the press in the last few years. Including the Story of the 12 puppies dumped in a recycling box at the Animal Centre gates. The puppies were badly dehydrated and were too weak to climb out of the bin when they were dumped, sparing them the danger of passing traffic. All 12 puppies were treated with emergency fluids and antibiotics and all bounced back. The 5week old staffy puppies were totally unaware of everything the animal care staff were doing for them and that their story had gone national. The animal centre is a charity which many people hold close to their heart.

  • Excellent coverage within the press both locally and nationally. Coverage has included: South Wales Evening Post, Daily Mail, The Sun, Mirror, BBC Radio, The Wave, Swansea Sound, Bay Radio, S4C, ITV This Morning, ITV News, BBC News & many online forums.
