Meet the handsome, Gizmo!
Gizmo certainly has a funny character.
When Gizmo gets scared or does not like something that is happening he will lash out and/or bite you.
On arrival he was quite aggressive but once he got to know us and his surroundings he started to settle but this did take some time. The majority of the time Gizmo is a lovely, friendly boy who enjoys attention but will let you know when he is not happy. He will need an owner who is happy to let him settle at his own pace and deal with his personality.
Gizmo has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
He is on medication for life which is called Clopidogrel 18.75mg which costs approx. £25 a month depending on your vet practise. He will need regular checks and scans throughout his life.
He is also on a calming supplement called Zylkene which once settled in his new home can be stopped.
Gizmo came into the centre via the RSPCA as his owner could no longer care for him.
He could possibly live with a neutered female cat, no dogs and children over 16 years old.
