Meet our adorable Suzie…
Suzie may be a senior- kitizen but she still has her tortoiseshell sass!
She enjoys attention and being fussed over which usually results in her dribbling all over you, although she will
let you know if she has had enough or does not like what you are doing.
Suzie also loves playing with her toys and taking a well earned snooze in her comfy bed.
Suzie has Renal Disease and is on a specific diet for it called Royal Canin Renal which can be purchased online or through your vets – She eats wet and dry food (even though she only has 1 or 2 teeth), she can be a bit fussy at times. She is not on any medication at the moment.
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is the most common type of kidney (renal) disease and refers to gradual onset, long term disease of the kidneys. This damage usually due to the natural aging process and is often seen in cats over seven years of age.
Sadly, the condition is not reversible and will deteriorate over time.
She will all need regular checks from your vet, which can include blood tests, blood pressure checks and urine tests. (Usually between 3-6 months)
Suzie is looking for a quiet home where she can be loved and treated like the royalty she is.
Preferably a home with no dogs and children 12 years +.
Suzie has previously lived with a male cat.
