My name is Bobi but my closest friends call me Bobs!
Once again I find myself here at Llys Nini, they are a great bunch but I really would love a forever home.
I am a young Collie cross with lots and lots (and lots) of energy, some would say too much energy and that I really need to learn how to chill and take it easy. Perhaps my new family can help me with this.
Being part Collie means that as well as being friendly, loving and sensitive, I am highly intelligent and I need a family that understands that I am not your average Bobs.
I love people and most other dogs, I love to play with toys (especially a ball), I love to go walking in the woods or along cycle paths (but large open spaces and busy roads can be a bit scary for me right now), I love to pick up sticks and I love to play in puddles and streams.
I have been told that playing is good but as a young pup I have a lot to learn. Ideally my new family will have experience of dogs like me and have lots of time and patience to help me settle in.
I am easy to train probably because I will do almost anything for a treat… sit, down, stay (for a while), leave a treat on the floor (don’t understand the point of that but I did once leave a treat for almost 5 seconds!).
Training me is going to be a life-long experience for us, me and my new family. It will require a lot of dedication and time but we could learn to do tricks or take part in events such as agility or flyball. Whatever we do, I am sure it will be lots of fun and I am looking forward to it.
Thank you for reading my little write up…
