She is an 8 year old Border Collie,
unfortunately Mitzi was not in very good condition on arrival to the centre,
and she was very unsure of new people.
Mitzi has been making good progress and appears to be a lot happier in herself.
She loves being out and about playing with her toys especially the ball.
Mitzi would benefit from some basic training and will need to build her confidence around other dogs.
The ideal home
Mitzi is looking for a quiet home with an owner who has previous experience of Collies and
understands how to meet their needs with enrichment games as well physical exercise.
A rural area would be preferred as she may not be able to cope with traffic.
Mitzi would be best suited to a child free environment.
She has previously lived with cats and dogs but is best rehomed alone in order to focus on her
one to one.
