Paul loves quieter walks in fields and woodland.
He loves to sniff for food in the grass, it helps to calm him.
Paul also also enjoys his training, he knows….his own name, sit, down, and drop.
He travels well in the car.
Paul gets on with most dogs.
Loves a good game of tug
Rolling on his back with a soft Toy.
Paul finds some things in life difficult like….
A busy household, he would prefer an adult only home, maximum of two people.
Busy places, he prefers the calm and quiet areas.
He is a sensitive dog so to ensure he remains calm it would be helpful not to allow him to be over exposed to things like traffic and lots of people.
Paul has an incredibly good nature once he gets to know you but he does need time to build the trust
After a difficult start in life Paul is now looking for an owner who can cater to all his needs.
Paul may be able to live with a well mannered dog (female) but he would prefer a cat free household.
Paul will require continued training as well as regular exercise.
Paul has suffered from fits whilst in our care which the vet has now diagnosed and started him on treatment to control these which he will need to be on for life along with periodic blood tests to ensure the medication is working.
Paul needs a stress free environment to help keep his fits at bay.
Paul’s medication is called Phenoleptil 100mg which is indicated for the prevention of seizures due to generalised epilepsy in dogs. This medication can be purchased through your vets for around £50 per month on his current dose (depending on your practice), It can also be purchased online for around £24 per month but you will need a prescription from your vets to do so. We would advise that you speak to your vet first.
