Meet our adorable lad, Bear.
You may recognise Bear as he is a former resident of ours!
He came back into our care due to a change in circumstance and his adopter could no longer look after him.
Previously Bear has struggled to bond with other ferrets, had issues with gaining weight and overall being very shy and scatty! He has been checked over with the vet and had bloods done, his results have not shown anything of concern and our vet recommended him to have an implant. In these last couple months since having his implant, we have seen such a big and lovely change to him and his behaviour! Bear will need a ferret-savy owner who can continue with our recent progress and his implant will need to be re-inserted every 6 months.
Bear is a super gentle and friendly boy who nowadays enjoys mixing and playing with the other ferrets and is much more confident. He is an inquisitive lad and loves to explore and climb (yes, sometimes even your legs)
He would make a good first time ferret, he does not like dogs so would be best to either live with none already in the home or for them not to have any interactions.
Our boy is looking to be paired up with another ferret or join an existing business in a quieter home where he can settle, older children if any would be advised.
