HOUSE & ONLY RABBIT
Meet this friendly, cheeky chap Eeyore who definitely looks like his name sake!
Eeyore is looking for a special home, where he can be spoilt and loved.
He is a cheeky and inquisitive chap who will need plenty of space and activities to keep him busy
otherwise we are sure he will get up to mischief. He needs regular grooming which he does not mind.
Eeyore has not had the best of luck, he is unstable under general anaesthetic which is why he is unable to be castrated.
He was also tested and had Staphylococcus, which he has received medication for and is now doing much better but may always be a bit sniffly and have crusty eyes, which will need to monitored and bathed when needed.
Due to all the issues poor Eeyore has dealt with it means he cannot live with other rabbits due to him not being castrated and the possible spread of infection. He may need courses of antibiotics in the future to help him.
Eeyore has also likely had some previous damage done to his right eye, possibly an ulcer which wasn’t treated.
Due to this his third eyelid is visible all of the time which will obscure his vision as well as scarring which his why his vision is limited on this side. He can get a little startled if caught off guard but generally copes very well.
He came into the centre as his owner could no longer care for him.
Eeyore will need an owner who knows rabbits and is able to provide him with the care he needs and so deserves!
Rabbits are active and will need an environment with plenty of room to hop, run, dig and stand fully upright on their back legs as well as stretch out when laying. They need a large living area and a secure shelter where they can rest, feel safe and are protected from predators, extremes of weather and temperature.
