Meet our handsome Mr. Pongo!
Pongo is a lovely boy who can be shy around people, but we are sure with a patient home with plenty of attention he will start to come out of his shell and become much more confident.
Since being in our care, Pongo has had to be separated from his male friend due to fighting, so is now on the lookout for a home with 1 or more female guinea pigs to keep him company.
He was the dominant one in the pair.
Pongo has recently been neutered and has recovered very well.
Guinea pigs are sociable and friendly animals, but like all pets require commitment to their specific accommodation, dietary and health needs. First time owners should do their research first, to understand what is involved.
