Meet our handsome trio, Reggie, Rufus & Rupert.
They came into the centre along with their other 2 brothers as they were found abandoned.
They are all lovely boys who are very energetic, they love playing with toys and running around like fools.
Kits have a tendency to nip and bite and these boys are no exception, they will need you to continue their nip training when they go home.
They will require a lot of your time and you will need to be patience.
We do not recommend kits for inexperienced owners unless you are prepared to be patient and teach them some manners.
It is normal for ferrets to peak in biting at around 14-20 weeks old, and it can be a very big source of frustration so just stay consistent and confident. Usually when a ferret is nip-trained consistently and handled correctly, nipping will cease completely at around 12-18 months old, and most ferrets can then be trusted around faces.

We do suggest you do some research if you have never owned a ferret / ferret kit before.
THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE ADOPTED UNTIL THEY ARE NEUTERED AND MICROCHIPPED – BEGINNING OF OCTOBER.
THIS GIVES A POTENTIAL ADOPTER PLENTY OF TIME TO GET TO KNOW THEM BEFORE HAND.
WE WOULD LOVE FOR THEM TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER – POTENTIALLY ONE COULD JOIN AN EXISTING BUSINESS.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PLEASE REVIEW OUR REHOMING PROCEDURE PAGE WHERE YOU CAN ALSO FIND OUR APPLICATION FORMS
PLEASE NOTE THE ANIMAL CENTRE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FOR VIEWING
