ONLY RABBIT – HOUSE RABBIT
Meet our cheeky chap, Skyhopper
Skyhopper is a friendly boy who is very confident and loves his food.
He is a rabbit who knows what he wants, he can be a bit cheeky and will nibble you if he feels something isn’t going his way.
Sky loves the outdoors and also running around the house, he loves jumping on furniture and siting on the sofa.
He is not interested in toys he just loves exploring and snoozing in his castle.
We have been told he is a master escape artist so his area will need to be secure.
He uses his litter tray well and is generally very tidy in his inside and outside pen and we have been told he is spotless in the house too.
Skyhopper dislikes his face and ears being touched and does not like being picked up but does tolerate it until he gives you a little nip, he would rather come to you and jump on your lap. He also loves his belly being tickled.
He came into the centre as he was found as a stray with wounds to his ears, which has now left him with a few chunks missing and many scars (All adds to his character). Skyhopper sadly came back to the centre after being adopted in April as he was not bonding with the existing female rabbit in the home.
Skyhopper is looking for a home on his own as he is territorial and everything belongs to him, even you!
He will need indoor accommodation and access outdoors for some fresh air.
Experienced Rabbit Owner
Children who are used to rabbits.
Rabbits are active and will need an environment with plenty of room to hop, run, dig and stand fully upright on their back legs as well as stretch out when laying. They need a large living area and a secure shelter where they can rest, feel safe and are protected from predators, extremes of weather and temperature.
